“Have a nice human life, Katherine”
elenaontop: #still not over this scene #katherine wanted elena’s life #and she got her wish #think of katherine’s body now #she is the doppelganger #she is ridiculously weak #she is ridiculously precious #she is the key to so many spells #she is the doppelganger and she needs to be protected #so that there are no more hybrids #so that there are no more original vampires #(she needs to be protected #and it will be elena’s job to do it)
lauralia answered your question: Do I recap the episode now, or have we all almost…
Katherine took the cure - can she actually just to back into a vampire again?! Or does the cure prevent that? Confused if she can - wasted!
I don’t know if she can, this whole cure storyline makes me want to go find the nearest bottle of vodka.
Though for Kat to turn back into a vampire, she’d need to die with vamp blood in her system (again) and go through the whole transformation again. There’s not a single vampire in MF willing to do that for her, so I think she’s going to be stuck human for a while.
Which is gonna be interesting ;-)

When Damon snapped Jeremy’s neck out of despair and terrifying pain & spent the whole season 2 to redeem himself, the fandom = “OMG WHAT A F*CKING BASTARD, ugh he’s disgusting, he should die already”!
When Katherine actually successfully killed Jeremy to get the cure & save her ass, the fandom 2 episodes later = “Oh Katherine baby, she’s so perfect, the queen of everything”…
You see my problem with the fandom? DOUBLE STANDARDS OSCAR.

#okay i have a lot of feelings about this #because obviously that wasnt katherine #it is elena’s own perception #katherine represents everything elena has never wanted to be #and is essentially voicing elena’s inner thoughts and own resentment she feels toward herself #this isnt katherine smacking elena up #it is elena smacking herself up #and it makes me want to cry
